Emily believed in the power of music. She had a true gift of musical talent, and she wanted to share that gift with future generations. Her immense passion for music is why this foundation and scholarship exists. Donations to the Emily Marie Bivens Memorial Foundation are used to completely fund a one year scholarship for musical instrument lessons for children who would otherwise never have the chance. Not only does the scholarship completely cover the expenses for a one-on-one instructor, our piano scholarship recipients will receive their own personal keyboard to continue to learn and grow at home for years to come. The current instrument instruction scholarships offered through the foundation are piano, violin, and cello.
